WHAT IS OCULOPLASTICS?

Oculoplastic Surgeons are ophthalmologists who have completed extensive postresidency training in the unique sub-specialty of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery of the periorbital and facial tissues.  This includes eyelids, eyebrows, cheeks, orbit (the cavity that cantains the eyeball), and lacrimal (tear) system.
