Contact Lens Technician

Ophthalmic technician with contact lens experience or NCLC contact lens technician.

Duties include working one-to-one with contact lens patients.
   
Knowledge of fittings and lens evaluation preferred.  Must have strong Refracting, Slit Lamp, and Keratomety skills.
  
Strong personality and communication skills a must.
  
Must be comfortable fitting a wide range of contact lens types, to include Rigid Gas Perm, Spherical Soft, Toric, Bifocal, and Keratoconus Lenses.
  
Computer literate. 

Spanish speaking a plus.  

Salary commensurate, part time/full time negotiable.

Ophthalmic Technician

Leading eye care center has a position available for an Ophthalmic technician.  

Responsible for assisting physician with exams and surgical procedures.  

F/T or P/T.  

High School graduate or equivalent required.  

COA or COT certification required.  

JCAHPO certification required.  

Knowledge of medical assisting and medical terminology.  

Must demonstrate good communication skills, a positive, caring attitude, and work well in a team setting.  

Computer literate, Windows, ability to learn computer programs quickly and effectively. 

Spanish speaking a plus.
